📘 Grammar
Para hablar de existencia se usa there más verbo to be. En este tema lo veremos en pasado con was o were y significaría “hubo” (Si deseas verlo en presente, haz click en There is/are). Para singular usamos There was y para plural There were.

En esta forma usamos los auxiliares negativos wasn’t y weren’t:

❓Interrogative Form
Para hacer preguntas, solo basta con cambiar el orden de was y were, quedando al inicio de la pregunta.

🧮Quantifiers
Hay palabras que utilizaremos para indicar cantidades en estas oraciones, en singular solo basta usar a/an o si precisamos especificar cantidad usando one.
En plural podemos indicar el número de objetos o alguno de los siguientes cuantificadores:
En forma negativa e interrogativa, se debe usar any, en negación significa ninguno, y en pregunta algún.
🔎 Consideraciones:
Es muy importante que en estas oraciones siempre cuides que los tres elementos de ella coincidan en cantidad, si usas There was, debe coincidir con a/an y el objeto en singular, y si usas There were, debe coincidir con cantidad mayor a uno o uno de los cuantificadores que se mencionan arriba y el objeto en plural.
